At the time of incorporation on July 9, 1975, the following was printed on incorporation papers as the statement of purpose of the FBFA.
“The purpose of the Fundamental Baptist Fellowship Association shall be to promote fellowship between Bible-believing Baptist Churches of like faith and order; to foster the spirit of evangelism; to spread the Gospel; and advance the cause of Christ through mutual efforts in Christian education and missions, both at home and throughout the world; to maintain a pure testimony to Jesus Christ – separated from worldliness, modernism and apostasy.”
This statement of purpose was true at the inception of the FBFA on August 22, 1962 and it is still true today.
